Join actor and comedian Ty Boice on a trek from small town upbringing to professional performing. Ty shares anecdotes from his childhood in Southern Oregon, living in a rural home setting with no roads and no phones. He navigated learning disabilities, a speech impediment, even a tractor accident, to carve out a career in classical theater performance and standup comedy.

Showtime is 7 p.m. on Friday, June 26. This presentation includes mature themes, and / or strong language, and is recommended for teen and adult audience members.

This performance is part of the 2026 Bandon Fringe Festival. All performances are at the Sprague Community Theater, 1202 11th St. SW, in Bandon City Park.

Ty has worked at some of the region’s biggest comedy clubs, headlined in rooms throughout the Northwest and featured at Tacoma Comedy Club and Spokane Comedy Club. He has opened for Caroline Rhea, Alonzo Bodden, Kyle Kinane and Pablo Francisco, as well headlining for Joke Masters comedy, Comedy/Bar, Beer town comedy, Bangers comedy, infinity room, and Comedy Bros and Mad Swede.
