Movie Night: Casablanca

Rick Blaine owns a nightclub in World War II era Casablanca, frequented by refugees desperate to escape German domination. Yet Rick stays uninvolved in the war until Ilsa Lund walks through the front door of Rick’s club. Rick must choose between a life with the woman he loves and becoming the hero that both she and the world need.
Academy Award winners Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman light up the screen in one of the most enduring romances in movie history. “Casablanca” also stars Claude Rains, Paul Henreid and Conrad Veidt, directed by Michael Curtiz. The movie is produced by Warner Bros., 1942, rated PG. Run time is 1 hour, 42 minutes.
Show time is 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Sprague Community Theater.
