City of Bandon Seeks Theater Manager

The City of Bandon is seeking a manager for the Sprague Community Theater to oversee routine theater operations and facilitate community access. Those with experience in and a passion for performing arts are encouraged to apply.

The Sprague Community Theater is a 246-seat performing arts theater equipped for a variety of events, including music, dance, theatrical productions, and films. The theater is owned by the City of Bandon and is located in Bandon City Park.

This part-time position provides for the day-to-day management of the theater. Responsibilities include managing rental bookings, overseeing routine cleaning and maintenance by our janitorial service and City Public Works Department, and marketing. The manager should have a working knowledge of theatrical technical equipment, including sound, lights and stage rigging, and the ability to provide basic technical support for some performances. Hours are flexible, and the position requires some evening and weekend commitments.

This is a salaried part-time position; the salary is negotiated based on the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.
