Movie Night: Apollo 13

Based on actual events, “Apollo 13” follows the 1970 lunar mission during which an explosion disabled the ship, leaving Mission Control to devise a plan to get the astronauts safely home.

The cast features Bill Paxton, Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinise and Ed Harris, directed by Ron Howard. The movie is rated PG, 2 hours and 19 minutes.

Show time is 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at the Sprague Community Theater. Admission is $5. Concessions are also available for purchase.
