Movie: E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

One of the most popular films of all time, Steven Spielberg’s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (Universal Pictures 1982) is a heartwarming fable of a boy and the gentle alien he befriends. Ten-year-old Elliot, and later his little sister, decide to help E.T. contact his ship, but first they must keep him hidden from their mother and teach him to communicate. Genuinely touching and filled with an infectious childlike wonder that has brought tears and laughter to audiences the world over, E.T. has truly become a family classic. The movie is 1 hour 55 minutes, rated PG.
Show time is 6 p.m., Saturday, October 30 at the Sprague Community Theater. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors age 60 and older, $3 for youth age 11 to 18. Children 10 and younger are admitted free with an adult. Refreshments, including popcorn, are available for purchase.
