Nature photographer Susan Dimock unveils her 2025 photographic memoir with “Drawing Stories from Nature,” a mixed-media staged reading from the book “Taking Refuge on the Oregon Coast.” The book and the staged reading follow Susan’s discovery journey as a nature photographer and wildlife conservation advocate.

“Drawing Stories from Nature” will debut as part of the 2025 Bandon Fringe Festival at the Sprague Community Theater. This immersive experience features voice acting by Lori Catlin and Melissa Cribbins, along with improvisational piano performance by Jane Suppes, and projected images from Susan’s collection. The reading was adapted for stage by Geneva Miller.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and signing by Susan, after the reading.

Show time is 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.

Admission $8
