Eco-Film Fest

The Wild Rivers Land Trust and Bandon Public Library present an Eco-Film Fest on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Sprague Community Theater.
Come for one, two or three nature themed films. This free public event starts at noon.
A River’s Last Chance @ 12:00 PM
Shane Anderson tells the story of how the Eel River in Northern California was saved from decades of over fishing, abusive logging, floods and droughts, and a hydro dam. The key is the belief in living symbiotically.

Shane Anderson takes an historic view of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act which has saved hundreds of America’s iconic rivers and streams from dams, over-development and natural resource extraction.
