<p>Johnson &amp; Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines are available throughout the day: Johnson &amp; Johnson beginning at 9 a.m., Pfizer at 12 p.m., and Moderna 2:30 p.m.</p>
<p>Schedule an appointment or walk-in. Teens and adults are welcome.</p>
<p>The Pfizer vaccine is approved for ages 12 and older. J&amp;J and Moderna vaccines are approved for those 18 and older. Youth age 12 to 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.</p>

<p>Walk-ins are welcome for those receiving their first dose.</p>

<h4>Eligibility</h4>
<p>The Oregon Health Authority has expanded vaccine eligibility to more residents. Phases 1A, 1B, including Group 7, which includes frontline workers and adults 18-45 with underlying medical conditions, are now eligible for vaccinations. Previously eligible groups still qualify, including those age 65 and older, health professionals, care givers and school district employees.</p>
<p>Beginning April 5, Group 7 will be able to receive the vaccine. Those eligible in that group include:</p>
<p>• Frontline workers as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<br />
• Individuals living in multigenerational households<br />
• Adults ages 16 to 44 with one or more underlying health condition with increased risk</p>
<p><strong>A frontline worker</strong> is someone who has a job that puts them at higher risk for contracting COVID-19 because of regular close contact with others outside of their household (less than six feet); routine (more than 15 minutes) close contact with others outside of their household; and they are not able to perform their job duties from home or another setting that limits the close or routine contact with others outside their household.</p>
<p><strong>Multigenerational household</strong> means a household where people from three or more generations live, such as a home where an elder lives with a parent and grandchild; or those 50 years and older residing with and caring for a relative who is not their own child (i.e. a grandchild, niece or nephew).</p>
<p><strong>Additional eligibility</strong> now includes adults ages 45 to 64 with one or more underlying conditions as well as several subgroups. For a complete list of subgroups, please visit the <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/categories-essential-workers.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CDC website</a>.</p>

• Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies<br />

• Obesity (BMI greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2)<br />
• Pregnancy<br />
• Sickle cell disease<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center will hold a Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Bandon Community Center.</p>
<p>Vaccine supply is limited, and advance registration is required.</p>

<h4>Eligibility</h4>
<p>The Oregon Health Authority has expanded vaccine eligibility to more residents. Previously eligible groups still qualify, including those age 65 and older, health professionals, care givers and school district employees.</p>
<p>Beginning April 5, Group 7 will be able to receive the vaccine. Those eligible in that group include:</p>
<p>• Frontline workers as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<br />
• Individuals living in multigenerational households<br />
• Adults ages 16 to 44 with one or more underlying health condition with increased risk</p>
<p><strong>A frontline worker</strong> is someone who has a job that puts them at higher risk for contracting COVID-19 because of regular close contact with others outside of their household (less than six feet); routine (more than 15 minutes) close contact with others outside of their household; and they are not able to perform their job duties from home or another setting that limits the close or routine contact with others outside their household.</p>
<p><strong>Multigenerational household</strong> means a household where people from three or more generations live, such as a home where an elder lives with a parent and grandchild; or those 50 years and older residing with and caring for a relative who is not their own child (i.e. a grandchild, niece or nephew).</p>
<p><strong>Additional eligibility</strong> now includes adults ages 45 to 64 with one or more underlying conditions as well as several subgroups. For a complete list of subgroups, please visit the <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/categories-essential-workers.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CDC website</a>.</p>
<p>• Migrant and seasonal farm workers<br />
• Seafood and agricultural workers<br />
• Food processing workers<br />
• People living in low-income, senior, congregate and independent living facilities<br />
• Sheltered and unsheltered individuals experiencing houselessness<br />
• People displaced by wildfires<br />
• Wildland firefighters<br />
• Pregnant people 16 and over</p>
<p>Underlying health conditions with increased risk as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):</p>
<p>• Cancer<br />
• Chronic kidney disease<br />
• COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)<br />
• Down Syndrome<br />
• Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies<br />
• Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant or HIV<br />
• Obesity (BMI greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2)<br />
• Pregnancy<br />
• Sickle cell disease<br />
• Type 2 diabetes mellitus</p>
