The post Stand Up Comedy: Red Hot Love Tips with Edgar Allan Poe first appeared on Bandon Events.]]> Part stand up, part sketch comedy, part puppet show— Join in a night of laughter and love as Edgar Allan Poe, the master of macabre, shares his unique tips on matters of the heart. Audience members are invited to submit anonymous questions about love and sex, answered live by E. A. Poe. Erik Escobar and Ty Boice take the stage for a Valentine’s event to remember at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Sprague Community Theater.

Admission is $15, with tickets available on Eventbrite and at the door. This event is recommended for adults 18 and older.

Host-liner Erik Escobar performs throughout the US at clubs, colleges, and festivals as an independent performer and part of the Almost Asian Comedy Tour. He has opened for acts such as WWE’s Rob Van Dam and Seinfeld’s Jerry Seinfeld. Erik is your guy when the audience wants to laugh. Credits include NBC’s Last Comic Standing, VH1, Comedy Central, Buzzfeed, and the upcoming feature film, “Josh and the Sound Gig.”

Ty Boice performs the role of Edgar Allan Poe. After working for over a decade as an award winning actor and director, Ty has worked at some of the region’s biggest comedy clubs, including Harvey’s, Helium-PDX, The Mad House, Candy’s, Ha ha Comedy Club, Laughs comedy club, Infinity Room, Chadwick’s and Comedy Chateau. Ty has headlined in rooms throughout the Northwest and featured at Tacoma Comedy club, Spokane comedy club. Ty recently opened for Caroline Rhea, Alonzo Bodden, Kyle Kinane and Pablo Francisco as well headlining for Joke Masters comedy, Comedy/Bar, Beer town comedy, Bangers comedy, infinity room, and Comedy Bros and Mad Swede. Ty just wrapped shooting a X box commercial.
