Four workshops will be offered over four weeks, with sessions beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until approximately 12 p.m. Drop by for one or come to all four. Classes are designed for beginners, age 13 to adult (or ages 10-12 with an adult) but experienced performers are welcome to come brush up their techniques.

Doors open at 9:15 a.m. for registration. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshops. Bring your own snack if desired; water will be provided.

Saturday, July 29, the workshops conclude with Music & Movement taught by local actors and directors Geneva Miller and Bobbi Neason. This workshop is open to ALL ages. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission is $5 (includes Playhouse membership). Donations are welcome. Participants are encouraged to reserve their spot as soon as possible; those under age 18 will need a parent or guardian’s signature to sign in. Walk-ins are also welcome.

This class meets and exceeds the State of Oregon requirements to apply for a concealed license. It is an educational course, not a field exercise event. Participants must be 18 years or older to attend.

The post Business Class: Employee Retention Credit first appeared on Bandon Events.]]> The Bandon Chamber of Commerce hosts a two hour business class, 8 to 10 a.m., at the Bandon Community Center on Wednesday, January 18. Bandon CPA Anne McCaleb will present on the Employee Retention Credit.

The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) and its updates are part of the COVID-19 legislation. The credit is for employers whose businesses were affected by COVID-19 at any time from March 12, 2020 through the third quarter of 2021. If an employer was eligible for the credit during the entire eligibility period, the credit could be as high as $26,000 per employee! This is money back in your bank account. Join Anne to learn about eligibility requirements, how to calculate qualified wages, and how to claim the credit. The time period to claim the credit starts to phase out in July 2023!
