DESCRIPTION:The Bandon Chamber of Commerce invites members and local business supporters to a membership gathering Monday\, March 9\, 2020\, at the Bandon Community Center. \nOur guest presenter is Bandon City Manager Dan Chandler. His presentation will focus on “An Overview\, Two months in\, Looking forward: Issues and plans for Bandon city administration.” The Bandon Chamber Board of Directors will review the year- and plans for next year and beyond. There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the presentations. We invite you to join us. \nDoors open at 5:15 p.m. We will be “Celebrating the Irish\,” a week ahead\, with corned beef & cabbage tacos\, green chicken burritos and chips with green guacamole\, provided by Historic Wilson’s Market. Cost is $15/person. DESCRIPTION:The Bite of Bandon is the Bandon Community Youth Center’s largest fundraiser with proceeds going to help sustain and grow the youth programs. \nThis 21-and-over event has both silent and live auctions as well as 17-20 restaurants providing “bites” for attendees to try. Participants will be given tokens to vote for Best “Display\,” “Savory\,” and “Sweet.” \nThe Bite of Bandon starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday\, March 7\, at the Bandon Community Center. \nAdmission is $40. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for high school students. \nSponsored by the Bandon Library Friends and Foundation\, Trivia Night is 7 p.m.\, Saturday\, Feb. 8 at the Bandon Community Center. All funds raised will benefit the Bandon Public Library Children’s Program.  \nFree pizza is provided by Pastries & Pizza\, and players may bring their own snacks. DESCRIPTION:Southern Coos Health Foundation is hosting their 3rd Annual Art for Health event which will be held 4 to 6 p.m.\, Sunday\, November 3\, at the Bandon Community Center. \nThe theme this year is the Healing Power of Art. Refreshments and music will be enjoyed and purchasers of tickets will be awarded a donated painting and listen to artist presentations. Tickets will be available at $35 each or 2 for $60.
