Darkness to Light is a free sexual abuse prevention program that educates adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child abuse. Free pizza will be served, and free childcare is available at Ocean Crest Elementary School.

Women’s Health Day

The 18th annual Women’s Health Day goes digital this year. Join providers from the Southern Coos Multi-Specialty Clinic for a day of education, sharing, and a focus on empowering women to take care of their health. Sessions will be shared live via Facebook and the Southern Coos website.

COVID Vaccinations at the Bandon Community Center

SCHHC will provide COVID vaccinations at the community center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for health care workers and educators in vaccination tiers 1a and 1b as defined by the Oregon Health Authority.

Women’s Health Day is an annual event held by the Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center and Southern Coos Health Foundation. Over the past 16 years, Women’s Health Day has focused on health-related topics that are relevant to women. This year’s focus will be mental and emotional wellness.

Admission is free. Tickets are not required but we do ask that you register at southerncoos.org/womenshealthday.

Women’s Health Day is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the Bandon Community Center. Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m.
