Celebrate an Old English-style New Year’s Day with the Side of the Tide Morris Dancers this Friday at the Bandon Senior Activity Center.

It will be an evening of joyous foolery, Jan. 1, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., complete with bells and drums and accordion, and country dancers in “tatters” entertaining with rowdy routines of high-stepping choreography and the clashing of staves.

Though admission is free, donations are welcome. Indoor COVID rules apply, with masks encouraged so that all can be safe. The BSAC is located at the southern end of the Bandon Community Center, 1200 11th St. SW.
