Bridge fans have their choice of Open Bridge, from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, or Duplicate Bridge from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thurs. If you’re a beginner or need to brush up, check out Friday’s lessons at 11:30 a.m.

Games of Choice (whatever the group wants to play) run from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday.

Cribbage games start at 5:15 p.m. Monday and run until 9 or 10 p.m.

Yazzi’s Chair Yoga is offered by donation at a.m. Mon/Wed/Fri. Mats are available. All ages and abilities are welcome for this one-hour class. Call 458-710-8946 for information.

If walking is more your speed, join Walking Buddies from 10 to 11 a.m. Tues/Thur. You can stay indoors on rainy days, or partner up for a one- to two-mile hike down to the beach or around the park. Dogs on leashes are welcome!

For a more aerobic workout, join the South Coast Folk Society for free monthly dance parties with live music. Call Paul at 541-404-8267 for details.

For moral support with your diet, sign up for Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS), for a weigh-in and meeting 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Stop by the BSAC any time the “Open” sign is out, to work a jigsaw puzzle, borrow a book, play pool or corn-hole, or just chat. And the center is always in need of hosts and hostesses to keep the doors open, answer the phone, and talk to visitors. Call 541-347-4131 to find out more.

It’s never too late — or too early — to learn to play bridge.

Longtime player Louise Nix will introduce beginners to the the game. Five free lessons are offered at the Bandon Senior Activities Center: Sessions are set for 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21, and Dec. 5 and 12. All ages are welcome.
