Phases 1A\, 1B\, including Group 7\, which includes frontline workers and adults 18-45 with underlying medical conditions\, are now eligible for vaccinations. Previously eligible groups still qualify\, including those age 65 and older\, health professionals\, care givers and school district employees. \nBeginning April 5\, Group 7 will be able to receive the vaccine. SUMMARY:Vaccination Event with Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center
DESCRIPTION:Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center will offer COVID vaccinations on Saturday\, February 6\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bandon Community Center. \nEligible Participants\nVaccination services are free and limited to tiers 1a and 1b\, healthcare workers and educators\, as defined by the Oregon Health Authority. Registrants must be eligible for a COVID vaccination as defined by OHA. \nTier 1a is comprised of healthcare workers\, including staff at hospitals\, skilled nursing and memory care facilities\, and caregivers. For a comprehensive list of those eligible in Tier 1a\, visit the Oregon Health Authority vaccination web page. \nTier 1b is comprised of childcare providers\, early learning and K-12 staff\, and educators and staff. \nAs more vaccines become available\, SCHHC will be adding additional events to vaccinate people in other groups. \nRegister Online or By Phone\nAdvance registration is highly encouraged\, and additional information will be provided through the registration process. \nRegister online with Eventbrite -or- \nCall SCHHC\, 541-329-0154 ext. 206. \nParticipants will need to remain masked and observe social distancing protocols.
