She performs in multiple languages and has toured across four continents. She is joined by Matt Treder on piano\, Rob Kohler on bass\, and Rob Birdwell on trumpet. \nThe concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Sprague Community Theater\, 1202 11th St. SW\, in Bandon City Park. General admission is $35. Tickets are available in advance on Eventbrite and at the door the evening of the show. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother\, his teacher and even\nSanta Claus himself\, at Higbee’s Department Store. \nThe consistent response: “You’ll shoot your eye out!” \nAll the elements from the beloved motion picture are here\, including the family’s temperamental exploding furnace; Scut Farkas\, the school bully; the boys’ experiment with a wet tongue on a cold lamppost; the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin; Ralphie’s father winning a lamp shaped like a woman’s leg in a net stocking; Ralphie’s fantasy scenarios and more. “A Christmas Story” is destined to become a theatrical holiday perennial.

DESCRIPTION:Performers of all ages and skill levels are invited to Open Stage at the Sprague Community Theater on Saturday\, August 31\, at 3 p.m. Share your passion for music\, dance\, story telling\, poetry and more. Admission is free\, and donations are welcome. Performers are asked to register in advance. \nTo register or learn more\, contact event organizers by sending an email to SpragueOpenStage@gmail.com. \nGuidelines for Participants: \n1. We kindly request that each presenter registers ahead of time via email at spragueopenstage@gmail.com. There will be a maximum of 10 presenters per event.\n2. Please let us know via email if you will join the Practice / Tech rehearsal session.\n3. New presenters will get priority if they register early\, returning presenters will be next on the list or moved to the following event (if we have more than 10).\n4. Each presenter has a maximum of 8 minutes to perform. There will be a 1-minute warning signal that your time is running out.\n5. Keep content family friendly.\n6. Please refrain from flash photography and silence your cell phones please.\n7. The Open Stage program may be documented via video recording. If posting of a full performance is intended by Open Stage organizers\, we will request permission from the performers first. DESCRIPTION:MarLo Dance Studio celebrates 25th Anniversary Season with Cinderella \nCinderella is a magical celebration of dreams come true and love’s triumph. In MarLo Dance Studio style\, ballet\, tap\, jazz\, hip-hop and and contemporary dance weave together beautifully to bring this enchanting story to life. \nEnjoy this family favorite tale with delightful characters: Captivating Cinderella\, her Fairy Godmother\, the pumpkin carriage\, spell- weaving fairies\, the charming prince\, the glass slipper\, the clock striking midnight; and of course\, the wicked stepmother and Cinderella’s riotous\, bumbling stepsisters\, all come together to tell this beloved story. \n“It’s been a wonderful 25 years\, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with Cinderella\,” said dance studio founder Maria Merriam. \n“It’s a tale full of humor\, magic\, and romance for audiences young and old enjoy.” \nThe show will run two weekends\, opening Mother’s Day weekend\, May 10\, 11\, 12; and May 17\, 18\, 19\, at the Sprague Community Theater\, 1202 11th Street SW\, in Bandon.
