She went on to perform physical comedy across Texas and Ontario. Since returning to Bandon\, she has contributed her work to many local events and fundraisers. Most recently\, Corrie has been seen in Bandon Playhouse productions of “Radium Girls\,” “Coquille River Anthology\,” and “Crimes of the Heart.” She is also a member of the Bandon Playhouse board of directors. \nDr. Annie McGregor earned her PhD in Theatre from the University of Oregon. While teaching at Purdue she developed a new Masters program in dramaturgy. Later\, at Penn State\, she was in charge of the nationally recognized THEA 100 experience\, in addition to acting and directing in regional theatres. She is excited to be working with her old pal Corrie Gant on “Tales From the Kitchen Table.”

DESCRIPTION:Louis Pearl mesmerizes audiences with his bubble-making performances. \nOne of the world’s leading bubble-ologists\, Louis began in 1980 by making\, demonstrating\, and selling a toy called the Bubble Trumpet on a street corner in Berkeley\, California. Eventually\, his toy company had 147 products with international manufacturing and distribution. \nBut Louis found that he preferred playing with the toys over selling them. He sold Tangent Toys in 2002. Since then he has been touring the world\, performing hundreds of shows every year. DESCRIPTION:Nature photographer Susan Dimock unveils her 2025 photographic memoir with “Drawing Stories from Nature\,” a mixed-media staged reading from the book “Taking Refuge on the Oregon Coast.” The book and the staged reading follow Susan’s discovery journey as a nature photographer and wildlife conservation advocate. \n“Drawing Stories from Nature” will debut as part of the 2025 Bandon Fringe Festival at the Sprague Community Theater. This immersive experience features voice acting by Lori Catlin and Melissa Cribbins\, along with improvisational piano performance by Jane Suppes\, and projected images from Susan’s collection. A retired licensed clinical social worker\, she describes her transition from therapist to nature photographer as an awakening that has brought healing\, solace and joy. In the last decade-plus\, Susan has published work digitally and presented many print exhibits. She is excited to release her first book\, “Taking Refuge on the Oregon Coast.” Learn more about Susan’s work at SusanDimockPhotography.com. \nLori Catlin moved to Oregon from Colorado in 2021 with her husband Brad. She is a mother of three and grandmother of four. She enjoys spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Living in Bandon has given her a sense of “being home.” Lori is pleased to return to the Sprague Community Theater stage following her debut performance in the Bandon Playhouse summer 2024 “Gala.” \nMelissa Cribbins is an attorney and Tribal Court Chief Judge in Coos Bay. She grew up in Coos County\, and feels that this is the place that her soul has always called home. She and her husband\, Troy\, have raised three children on the south coast\, and she and her family believe in supporting and giving back to the community. \nJane Suppes has been a Coos Bay local for over 20 years. She has been an active musician for most of that time\, accompanying many on piano. Jane has also taken part in theatre productions\, playing at various churches\, and jazz combos. She and her partner Michael enjoy spending time in nature\, creating mixed media art\, and playing chess. \nGeneva Miller is a performing arts and education enthusiast who enjoys emergent creative projects. For more than two decades\, she has been privileged to work with artists and performers at all ages and stages of life in Oregon’s Coos and Curry counties. Ms. Simpson has generously written “The Footbridge” for Bandon’s own Amber and Jessica Burg\, which will debut at Bandon’s first annual Fringe Festival. \nDanielle Owens has performed on stage in Chicago and St. Louis\, along with video and voiceover work. Danielle’s first Bandon performance was in the role of Chick in the 2025 Bandon Playhouse production of “Crimes of the Heart.” She is delighted to return to the theater\, her first love. \nAfter a multi-decade hiatus from acting\, Amber Burg made her Bandon Playhouse debut in the role of Lenny in the 2025 production of “Crimes of the Heart.” Growing up in the little town of Virginia City\, NV\, Amber knows first hand how important the arts are for small communities. She thanks you for supporting this theater. \nJessica Burg’s theater credits include the role of Babe in the 2025 Bandon Playhouse production of “Crimes of the Heart” and stage hand for the 2024 “A Christmas Story” production. In MarLo style\, dancers skip and grand jete down the yellow brick road\, weaving mime with ballet\, tap\, contemporary\, jazz and hip-hop dance genres. \n“It’s a show you won’t want to miss\, the kind of family event that brings a community together\,” said MarLo founder Maria Merriam. \nThe professionally staged production has everything audiences expect in Dorothy’s iconic adventure— adorable munchkins\, flying monkeys and memorable dancing by more than 100 youth and adult students from Coos and Curry counties along with MarLo instructors. \nTickets\nThe show will run two weekends\, May 9\, 10\, 11 and May 16\, 17\, 18\, at the Sprague Community Theater\, 1202 11th Street SW\, in Bandon. DESCRIPTION:Bandon Showcase welcomes seasoned singer and songwriter Willy Porter in concert at Bandon’s Sprague Community Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday\, April 22. \nRock\, blues and jazz guitarist Willy Porter is a singer and songwriter with a seering finger-picking guitar style\, a 13-album portfolio\, and 30-year music career. Along the way\, he has performed alongside artists such as Tori Amos\, Paul Simon\, Jethro Tull\, Sting\, and Jeff Beck. His work with Guild & Fender guitars led to the manufacture of the “Willy Porter Signature” acoustic guitar. \nSome folks are lucky to find what they love to do at an early age and quietly settle in for the long haul expanding and developing their work over the arc of a lifetime. Willy Porter is one of those artists. Porter released his most recent album\, “The Ravine\,” in 2023. And\, in his home state of Wisconsin\, The Wisconsin Area Music Industry inducted Porter into WAMI Hall of Fame. \nTickets\nGeneral admission to the concert is $35.
