The movie is 1 hour, 35 minutes.

The cast includes Academy Award winner Margaret O’Brien, International Emmy winner David Suchet, Joaquim de Almeida, Julianna Guill, Rudolf Martin, Lawrence Pressman, Kristina Anapau, Jon Provost, Noel Neill, and many more.

The post Glamour Shots first appeared on Bandon Events.]]> Author and storyteller Naomi Ulsted takes audiences on a journey back to her early 20’s in Austin, Texas. There, she spent her days clinging to small thrills, such as an imagined romance with the UPS guy and the occasional escape of dancing on Sixth Street. The rest of her life felt like a string of underwhelming routines tied together by cheap rent, theater costumes, and just enough money for beer and groceries.

On a whim, (and perhaps out of mild desperation), she scheduled a Glamour Shots session at the mall, convinced it would be the perfect activity when her younger sisters came to visit from their home in Oregon.

As Naomi recalls, “When my sisters arrived from our home in Oregon, they brought with them not just their worn sneakers and sharp humor, but the weight of life back home: a cruel stepfather, low expectations, and the quiet erosion of their confidence. I wanted to give them something different, something glamorous, something hopeful, even if I wasn’t entirely convinced I believed in it myself.

“The photoshoot, however, unraveled into pure chaos: ill-fitting dresses clipped together with office supplies, too much hairspray, melting makeup, and my stubbornly uncooperative eye turning every pose into a spectacle. But somewhere between the awkward poses and the photographer’s strained patience, everything shifted. What should have been embarrassing became hilarious . . . . By the time we left the mall, clutching overpriced prints and laughing until we could barely stand, nothing else seemed to matter. Not my empty apartment, not the cruel words waiting back home for them, not even my mediocre life. For a while, we had rewritten the narrative, turning it into something loud, defiant, and entirely our own.”

Naomi Ulsted writes fiction, non-fiction, and stage plays. She’s the author of the YA novel “The Apology Box” (2021), which was runner-up in the Indies Today contest and a finalist in the Next Generation Indies Book Award contest. Henrik Bothe, (pronounced “Bota”), is a native of Denmark, where he attended the Aahus Theater Academy. He began his professional work in Europe, then relocated to San Francisco to join the ’80s New Vaudeville scene and was introduced to the world of improvisational theater.

Performance highlights include appearances with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace and on Europe’s most widely viewed variety show “Le Plus Grande Cabaret du Monde” in Paris. Today Henrik performs physical comedy as a professional entertainer for corporate, local and national events.

Hoping to contact his recently deceased grandpa, Fletcher begins to help restless spirits resolve their unfinished business. And, he learns that helping others can sometimes be the best way to help yourself.

“Self Possessed” is a one act comedy written and performed by Tyler Eickhoff. Tyler’s work includes the one act play “A Pirate Named Shirley,” which had its debut performance at the 2025 Bandon Fringe Festival.

Crafted from actual articles, testimony, and court documents, the play “Murder at Two Mile: A True Bandon Mystery” details the complex crime that still fascinates more than a century later.

“Murder at Two Mile” was first performed in Bandon by the Gaels Readers Theater in 2018. The cast for the 2026 Bandon Fringe Festival includes actors with a range of professional and community theater experience, now based in Coos and Curry counties. The readers include original Gaels members Corrie Gant, Amy Moss Strong, and Mike Dempsey, joined by Nameer El-Kadi and Grant Goodwin.

Playwright Neal Davis has created several theatrical works based on local history with the assistance of the Bandon Historical Museum, including “Bandon Burns!” and “Coquille River Anthology.”

“Murder at Two Mile” runs approximately 45 minutes and is presented in readers theater format. Some phrases from original news reports may be offensive to modern audiences.
