DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Theater Usher Orientation\, 10 a.m.\, Saturday\, Oct. 17 \nBecome an active supporter of the Sprague Community Theater by joining our Volunteer Usher program. Ushers are invited to watch performances the same days they are volunteering. Explore your interest in drama\, music\, dance and more\, while supporting local performing arts! \nVolunteers age 16 and older are welcome. Thanks to all who have served as a front of house volunteers in the past! We hope you will join us again. \nVolunteers are asked to attend one orientation session before their next shift. DESCRIPTION:Bandon Playhouse is pleased to announce auditions for “Nunsense” the musical. \nAuditions are 7 p.m. on Tuesday\, Dec. 8\, and 10 a.m. on Saturday\, Dec. 12 at the Sprague Community Theater. \nThose auditioning for stage roles are invited to prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo musical theater piece\, or a pop/country song. There will also be a small dance audition. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to dance in. \n“Nunsense!” It’s Habit Forming! A hilarious farce about a convent of Nuns staging a fundraiser to enable them to bury the last four nuns of their order who were accidentally poisoned by the convent cook\, Sister Julia (child of God). The Little Sisters of Hoboken (well\, what’s left of them) put on this riotous revue packed with hilarious\, show-stopping song and dance numbers\, and it always proves to be a crowd favorite. \nPerformances are two weekends\, February 26\, 27\, 28 and March 5\, 6\, 7\, 2027. \nBandon Playhouse has provided the best in community theater\, from classic plays and musicals to premiere works by new playwrights\, since 1976.
